Once nest construction has begun, part of the trails are roped off per federal law. To view the eagles from a safe distance, a Volunteer will be manning a viewing station. A high-powered spotting scope to view the nest will be provided. The 20-minute walk to the eagle viewing station on the Green Trail from the Nature Center or campground is self-guided and trail maps can be obtained at the Ranger Station and Nature Center.
