Joshua Herman, Park Manager

Wingate Creek State Park is a little piece of paradise. Currently, there is limited access, Park staff are working on installing a parking area, trail head, and restoring the property back to its original habitat. Once completed, you will be able to hike and may encounter animals such as the Gopher Tortoise, White Tailed Deer, Indigo Snake and Bard Owls. For access before our projects are completed, please contact Lake Manatee State Park at 941-741-3028.
