Park Manager

Jason Vickery, Park Manager

Summertime weather patterns have arrived in the Northern Panhandle of Florida. Get an early start on your hiking adventures at Torreya State Park before it heats up in the middle of the day. Remember to bring plenty of drinking water, insect repellent and sunscreen. Thunderstorms are prevalent in the afternoons during the summer, so hiking after they pass in the late evening may be a smart choice. I hope you find the unique topography of the park and its rare and endangered flora and fauna a pleasure to visit and experience!

Guided Tours of the Gregory House occur Monday-Friday at 10 a.m. EST and on weekends and holidays at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. Eastern Time
