Park Manager

Summer is here and so is the warmer weather, making it an ideal time to enjoy walking, biking, or roller blading along our 46-mile multi use trail. The trail passes through 6 distinct natural communities each offering a glimpse of "The Real Florida". The southern end of the trail offers plenty of shade and a nice view of the Withlacoochee River while the northern end is more open and has higher elevations but my favorite portion is the mid-section of the trail that runs through downtown Inverness and boarders Wallace Brooks and Liberty Park.

Be sure to check the weather and hydrate before and while you are using the trail. You may see our volunteers and staff working hard to maintain and make improvements for a more enjoyable experience for all.
