Marshall Shaw, Park Manager

Welcome to Yellow River Marsh Preserve State Park.  Now is a great time to visit to view Pitcher Plants.  Pitcher Plants are carnivorous plants that can be found in most wet areas in the Park.  The short trail at the Dickerson City Road parking area leads to a shallow pond that is a great place to view these fascinating plants, the first plants begin to emerge in late February or early March after the last spring frost.
