Ponce de Leon Springs State Park

National Public Lands Day is an opprotunity for both employees and guests to spend some time working together to complete a park improvement project at their favorite outdoor recreation site.  This year we will be working to expand the existing trail system to give visitors access to more of the park's natural resources. The trails will be utilizing existing "two track" service roads.  Jobs will include blazing trails, installing signs, removing vegetation that's intruding into the trail area. The expected duration of the project is about 2 hours, but volunteers are welcome to stay and use the park after the project time is complete.  Tools will be supplied, but boots, long pants, and gloves are recommended.  Bug spray is also suggested.

Entrance fee waived for participants.
