Fanning Springs State Park

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Fanning Springs State Park would like to invite you to join us for a trail maintenance project celebrating National Public Lands Day. Bring the whole family out to help make a difference at the park. Projects include: hiking trail maintenance on the Palmetto Trail.  The park will provide a positive atmosphere, trash bags, direction, and information on the park. Suggested items to bring with you include bottled water, gloves, sunscreen, insect repellant, trash grabbers, comfortable shoes, and a smile. Don’t forget the bathing suit for a cool refreshing swim after the project.  We will meet at the Main Day Use Parking Area near the spring.
