Alafia River State Park

This event is a great opportunity for volunteers to help the Friends of Alafia decide where our park's new hiking trail will be located. We will be flagging out the route on this date and beginning trail construction in October. Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes (preferably boots). A hat, insect repellent and sunscreen are recommended. Bring water and snacks to keep you energized in the Florida heat.

Fees are waived for volunteers at this event.

Event Time:

Saturday, September 23, 2017 - 8:30am to 12:30pm EDT
