To celebrate National Public Lands Day, volunteers will be assisting park staff in removing litter from the area in between the mangroves and the estuary. Volunteers will be helping to remove fishing line, plastic bags and other marine debris, which can eventually harm the park's wildlife. Participants will be entering this area from the land but might be in ankle to knee deep water during the event. Please dress accordingly by wearing close toed shoes, long sleeve shirt, long pants are recommended and a hat. Please bring a water bottle and wear sunscreen.
