Crystal River Preserve State Park

Lend a hand and have fun at the same time by bringing your family, friends, classmates, students, or coworkers to make a difference in your community at your state park.  The Crystal River Preserve State Park is seeking volunteers to help with two natural resource projects; a trail improvement project and a native plant garden restoration.  Individuals or groups are asked to arrive to volunteer at the Preserve office at 8:30 am on Saturday September 30th, 2017.  Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes, bring work gloves, loppers or small limb trimming tools.  Individuals or groups of volunteers will be assigned to a project based upon their interest or talents.  All registered participants will be provided lunch, compliments of the Friends of Crystal River State Parks, Inc.  Interested individuals or groups can contact the park to register in advance by sending an email to or calling (352) 228-6024.
