Falling Waters State Park

Falling Waters State Park is inviting nature lovers from all over to participate in the park's annual fence and trail clean-up day in conjunction with National Public Lands Day. Participants are encouraged to bring loppers and garden shears to help in the removal of invasive native and non-native plants that are on their never ending quest to destroy the parks boundaries.  The event is being held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.. At 11:00 a.m. a park ranger will present a program on Managing Florida's Natural Heritage.  After the event bring a picnic lunch and spend the day enjoying Falling Waters State Park with all its natural beauty.


Entrance fees are waived for participants.

Additional Information: 

It is recommended that participants wear boots, long pants, long sleeve shirt, hat as well as sunscreen and bug repellent.  The ability to carry water with you during the event is highly recommended.  Please contact the park to RSVP by calling (850) 638-6130.
