Blackwater River State Park

Blackwater River State Park will be hosting a river clean-up to celebrate National Public Lands Day.  Join a Park Ranger for a fun filled day of cleaning up Blackwater River.  Blackwater River is one of the purest sand-bottomed rivers in the country and this is an excellent opportunity to give back to the community.  We will meet at the Blackwater Canoe Rental Outpost at 8:00am, bring a picnic lunch and plenty of water to enjoy on one of the many white sandy beaches of the Blackwater River.  Canoe rentals and shuttle service will be available through the park concessionaire; Blackwater Canoe Rental, (850)623-0235, please call early for reservations and pricing as space is limited for this event.  Previous paddling experience is recommended.  Trash bags will be provided by Sponsor; American Rivers.
