As Spring has sprung, and despite a direct hit from Hurricane Irma Bahia Honda is recovering, True to this season, new and wonderful growth has begun across the island. The waters are warming, and the beach is inviting. Everyday progress is being made to restore and preserve the areas affected by the storm.
Only Calusa beach is open at this time, with Loggerhead beach slated for opening by the end of June. Due to the severe impacts to the Sandspur beach and campground roads and infrastructure this area of the park is not anticipated to open for another year.

Our marina is open for launch and retrieve and the concessionaire building is open for business. Come and be a part of our restoration, witness an island reborn.
