John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park

Little Explorers is designed for children 6 and under, and features a new topic every month. This month’s topic: Butterflies! Come join us to learn about these fascinating animals, do a craft, and hike the Grove Trail. The explorers will meet at the Visitor Center at 11:30 a.m. Participants will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate. Play-time clothing that can get dirty, closed-toed shoes, and a refillable water bottle are recommended.


Participation is free with park entrance fee or annual pass; $8.00 per car, plus 50 cents per person, up to 8 people per car; $4.50 for single occupant; $2.50 per bicyclist or pedestrian; free if under 6 years of age.
