While camping at Jonathan Dickinson State Park, a couple requested a wheelchair to experience all the park had to offer, especially the nature trails. Having the ability to experience the park free from limitations or boundaries created an exciting and wonderful visit for them. After talking with park staff about the park’s track chair fund to buy a wheelchair built for varied terrain, the visitors wanted others to share in their experience. Therefore, to improve the accessibility of the park, they donated to the fund. This is Florida Park Service’s goal, that access for one spreads to all.
