Long Key State Park

On September 16 hundreds of thousands of volunteers worldwide will be scouring the waterways for trash as they participate in the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup Day. Trash in the water and on the shore can kill marine animals, injure swimmers and beachgoers, and ensnare boat propellers. Consider this your personal invitation to volunteer for the Florida Keys chapter of the International Coastal Cleanup Day this year. At Long Key we will pickup trash along the shoreline then enjoy a hotdog and hamburger grill for lunch in celebration of a successful day's work! Pre-registration is preferred.
