Topsail Hill Preserve State Park

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and Walton County invite you to the Walton County Solid Waste & Recycling and Tire Amnesty Day!

Items being accepted are:

  • Pesticides
  • Used Oil
  • Stale Gasoline
  • Solvents
  • Fertilizers
  • Paint, Paint Thinners, Paint Strippers
  • Batteries
  • Furniture Polish
  • Brake Fluid
  • Engine Degreasers
  • Anti-Freeze
  • Pool Chemicals
  • Insecticides
  • Spot Removers

Waste tire amnesty will also be held on the same date, during the same hours and locations. Walton county residents may bring up to 12 tires per residence.  No gas cylinders or explosives please. 

Due to hazardous nature of certain components in home computers, old computer hardware including processors, monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners will be accepted. 

Locations:

  • Walton County Fairgrounds, Highway 83 North (9th Avenue), Defuniak Springs
  • Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, 7525 W. Scenic Hwy 30A, Santa Rosa Beach

Fees: 

Park admission is free for those dropping off recyclables during the event.
