The Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park invites you to join us for a full moon paddle. As the evening twilight fades to dark, we will ease our kayaks, canoes or paddleboards into Lake Hall to enjoy a peaceful moonlit paddle with our guide Park Ranger Scott Groves. The park has a limited number of kayaks available, so we encourage you to bring your own. Please contact the park to RSVP or to reserve one of our kayaks for this program. Space is limited so sign up early! Adults only please.
The event is free with paid park admission.
Park kayaks are $15 for a single-person; $20 for a two-person.
Space is limited, RSVP required. To RSVP, contact the park at 850-487-4556.
Please arrive no later than 6:00 p.m. We plan to be on the water by 6:30 p.m.
A good quality LED flashlight or headlamp is recommended. Bring water and bug spray.
