Shipwrecks Off The Coast Of Florida Geocaching Event will begin Saturday morning with registration opening at 8:00 am at the park Recreation Hall. Geocaching will be ongoing throughout the day. Other activities include the Amazing Race, a competitive event with a number of organized teams providing administrative and resource management assistance to the park through brochure folding races and exotic plant removal races. The Amazing Race is scheduled from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. A dinner will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Recreation Hall followed by presentations and prize drawings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Cache In -Trash Out is scheduled in conjunction with the geocaching event and National Public Lands Day on Sunday morning, September 25, 2016 from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. Volunteers will pick up litter along County Road 634 and South Hammock Road which run on the west side of the park. Volunteers will meet in the Picnic Area in proximity to the CCC Museum at 8:30 am.

Park entry fees of $4.00 per single occupant vehicle and $6.00 per vehicle (up to eight people) apply. Park entry fees will be waived for volunteers who participate in the Cache In - Trash Out litter pickup in conjunction with National Public Lands Day on Sunday, September 25, 2016. Meal tickets for the geocache dinner are $5.00 per person and may be purchased at registration.
