Crystal River Preserve State Park

Crystal River Preserve State Park is seeking volunteers to remove roadside debris along the 10 mile stretch of County Road 494 (Ozello trail)  which runs through the heart of the Preserve.  Last  year 93 dedicated volunteers from ages 8 to 80 picked up 750 pounds of debris in 3 hours.    If you would like to help keep pollution from impacting the rivers, marshes and hammock islands that keep the Nature Coast natural,  call the Preserve and ask for Marla Chancey or Samantha Roberts-Swartz at 352 228 6028.   Large groups or individuals are welcome to join our team but must complete Citrus County's  hold harmless paperwork prior to the close of  business on September 8th, 2017.

No fee, volunteer event.
