Are you a hard-working nature lover looking to make a difference in your local community? Come join the Savannas Preserve State Park AmeriCorps FLCC Members in the battle against Invasive Plants! An Invasive Plant Removal Project will be taking place on Tuesday, September 19th from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (Don’t worry, you don’t have to stay the whole day!). Volunteers will be meeting at the Savannas Preserve State Park Administrative Office, located at the end of Riverview Drive in Jensen Beach. Or you can meet the group at 9 am at the Hawk’s Bluff Trailhead located off of Savannah Road in Jensen Beach. Please bring a reusable water bottle, lunch, bug spray, sunscreen, work gloves, a hat, and closed-toed hiking shoes. Don’t forget your good attitude and enthusiasm too!
