A Message From The Director

Enjoy Florida’s State Parks!

Welcome to the website for Florida’s state parks and state trails. This website will help you plan your visits to Florida’s 174 award-winning state parks, state trails and historic sites.

Summer is winding down, but that doesn't mean you and your family need to stop enjoying Florida's state parks, state trails and historic sites. Most of Florida's state parks are open year-round, which means that your fun doesn't have to end. Discover Florida's most beautiful springs before the summer ends, including Madison Blue Spring State Park, which was voted the number one swimming hole in the nation by USA Today.

Also, we now offer one of the best ways to explore Florida State Parks year-round on the Florida State Parks Online Store. Annual Passes for individuals and families are now available on the website, providing you easy access to continue discovering our natural areas and places to play. Buy you pass today on the Online Store and receive a free gift with your purchase.

Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram, where you can participate in contests such as "Where is This Wednesday?" and "Fuzzy Friday" and win a Florida State Parks One-Day Park Pass. Also, be sure to download the PocketRanger® app for iPhones and Android smart phones.

See you at the park!

Donald V. Forgione
