Accommodations and Camping

Sleep under the stars or under a tent, at a River Camp, in a cabin, at a local motel or bed and breakfast. You can stay in town, at a campground in a state park or in the wilderness. There are lots of options depending upon your plans for time on the river.

White Springs

In White Springs, there are quaint bed & breakfasts, motels, campgrounds and cabins that offer overnight accommodations. Visit the Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce for more information.

Live Oak

Near Live Oak at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, visitors find RV sites, tent camping and rental cabins. This is a private campground. Visit Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce for more information about overnight accommodations.

Suwannee River State Park near Ellaville offers cabins and camping facilities.

Primitive camping is permitted at the Twin River State Forest

Dowling Park

The Advent Christian Village at Dowling Park is a comprehensive retirement community with access to the Suwannee River. The Village Lodge offers accommodations for visitors.

Primitive camping is available at Lafayette Blue Springs State Park. Bathhouses are under renovation but portable restroom facilities are available.

Branford

In Branford, visitors will find Ellie Rays River Landing Campground, which offers tent and RV camping. Visit Branford for supplies and shopping. Several local hotels and bed and breakfasts are available.

High Springs

In High Springs:

• Ginnie Springs Outdoors offers camping and cottages.
• The Suwannee Valley Campground offers RV sites, cabins and tent camping.
• Ichetucknee Family Canoe and Cabins in nearby Fort White offers camping, canoeing and a variety of other recreational activities.

Fanning Springs

The town of Fanning Springs is a joy to explore. Bed and breakfasts and hotels are available.

• Cabins and primitive camping are available at Fanning Springs State Park.
• The Yellow Jacket Campground offers full hook up RV sites, cottages and tent sites on the Suwannee River. They also rent pontoon boats, motor boats, canoes and kayaks.

• Near Fanning Spring, in the town of Bell, visitors find the The Cottages of Suwannee Preserve, offering cottages for rent on or near the Suwannee River.

Chiefland

Besides cooling off in the crystal-clear waters of Manatee Springs State Park, RV and tent camping is available for visitors.

Bell

A vacation cabin perfect for families looking for outdoor fun is available to rent just off the river in the town of Bell.

Suwannee

Several hotels and restaurants call the town of Suwannee home. Near the mouth of the Suwannee River where the river meets the Gulf of Mexico, this charming town offers inns and hotels, fishing camps, seafood restaurants and a variety of fishing opportunities.
