Torreya State Park

 About Torreya State Park

The famous Apalachicola River.

Steven Cutshaw

The Friends of Torreya State Park have been busy relocating many native flowering plants from impact areas.  The new home for the plants will be the parking area near the Gregory House.  This will give you a glimpse of some of our stunning plants right from your windshield.  A short trail will also allow you to get up close and personal (but remember, take only pictures so we all can enjoy).  If you are interested in volunteering please call me anytime.

Make your reservations now to stay in our World Famous Yurt or our new Torreya Cracker Cabin!

The Yurt, Cabin and the family campsites may be reserved through RESERVE AMERICA or by calling 1-800-326-3521.  Primitive sites and Youth Camps may be reserved by calling the park directly.  Daily tours of the Historic Gregory House are offered M-F at 10am, Sa,Su & State Holiday's tours are offered at 10am, 2pm & 4pm Eastern Time.  Experience the one of a kind experience that is Torreya State Park, "The Mountains of Florida".

You may reach me or any of our great staff at 850-643-2674

Thanks and Happy Hiking,

Steven Cutshaw, Park Manager
