I realize it is HOT, I realize it is STEAMY, but this too shall pass.  It's time to start thinking about cool winds and fall colors!  Torreya State Park offers some of the best fall color viewing in Florida.  The Elm's, Hickory's, Maple's, Sweetgum and a mix of other plants give you the feel of a Tennessee landscape.

Make your reservations now to stay in our World Famous Yurt or the comfy Torreya Cracker Cabin!   

The Yurt, Cabin and the family campsites may be reserved through or by calling 1-800-326-3521.  Backpack Primitive sites and Youth Camps may be reserved by calling the park directly @ 850-643-2674.  Daily tours of the Historic Gregory House are offered M-F at 10am; Sa,Su & State Holiday's tours are offered at 10am, 2pm & 4pm Eastern Time.  Experience the one of a kind experience that is Torreya State Park, "The Mountains of Florida".

Torreya State Park is located off State Road 12 on County Road 1641, 13 miles north of Bristol.


  • Volunteer - On-site Campground Hosts are needed. Duties include cleaning of rest rooms, cleaning of campsites, visitor assistance and general maintenance of the camping area. Other volunteers are also needed to aid in construction and maintenance of various hiking trails.
