*IMPORTANT NEWS * We are very excited to announce several ongoing construction projects that consist of building an entrance station, a new road to the campground to help RV traffic flow, a playground, additional cabins and new tent campsites with a bathhouse. However, we do not have tent sites currently available. We are also constructing a mile tram path to Campbell Lake that will include a restroom and picnic area that will have water and electricity. We hope you are as excited as we are about our new additions. For your safety, please remember to stay out of construction areas. Thank You! The staff and volunteers are gearing up for another busy and fun summer. Our hourly summer tram schedule, which transports visitors and campers to the beach, is in full effect. The tram will depart from the Day-Use area every hour starting at 9am and run throughout the day, with the last tram departing 20 minutes after sunset. The park is offering some exciting and popular interpretive programs this May. On Saturday, May 3rd at 9am we will have a “Breakfast with a Ranger.” Join the rangers and ask them all of the questions you can think about park wildlife in our Breakfast with a Ranger Program. To cover the cost of food, please bring $3 which goes to Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park to enhance the park or bring your own breakfast. On Saturday May 10th at 9am come and join us for a program on Backyard Habitats. Learn tips on how to make your yard eco-friendly. Come and learn facts and history of the American Alligator with this popular Alligator program on Saturday May 17th at 9am. All of the above programs you can come to the Day-Use area off of Hwy 30A and take a short walk to the clubhouse. On May 24th at 9:15am join us for Fishing in the Surf. Bring your poles and take the tram from the Day Use parking lot area on Hwy 30A to the beach. On Saturday May 31st at 9am take Nature Trail Hike outdoors at the park. Meet at the preserve parking lot off of Hwy 98 and be sure to wear sunscreen and boots. Welcome to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park

This park offers a wide variety of natural resources including 3.2 miles of secluded, white sand beaches with majestic dunes over 25 feet tall. Three rare coastal dune lakes provide excellent freshwater fishing. Although boats are not allowed, fishing from the shoreline yields bass, bream, panfish, and catfish. Lakes, pristine beaches, old-growth long leaf pines, sand pine scrub, and a variety of wetlands offer a bird-watching and hiking paradise. Visitors may bike, walk, or enjoy a quick ride to the beach on our timely tram service to swim, fish, sunbathe, or beachcomb. Gregory E. Moore RV resort features a (non-heated) swimming pool and shuffleboard courts. Furnished bungalows are available for weekly stays. A camp store offers a variety of camping items, as well as snacks and drinks. Located in Santa Rosa Beach on Route 30A, one mile off U.S. 98.

Driving Directions

Located in Santa Rosa Beach 10 miles east of Destin, FL. Take Interstate 10 to Exit 85 (Defuniak Springs) and follow U.S. Highway 331 south. Travel 27 miles to U.S. Highway 98. Turn right and travel approximately 5 miles west to scenic Highway 30A. Turn left and go ¼ mile to the entrance on the right.
