We offer a wide variety of programs throughout the year on the following topics: Fishing in the Surf, Butterfly Walk, Shorebird Safari, Bombs Away, Sea Turtles, Turpentine, Wildlife Puppet Show, The Choctawhatchee Beach Mouse, Freshwater Fishing, Native Medicinal Plants, Snakes and Beyond, Learning About Burning, Beachcombing, Flint Knapping, Sharks, Coastal Dune Lakes, Ecosystems of Topsail, Birds of Prey, and Alligators.

SNAKES IN YOUR BACKYARD
Saturday, June 28th at 9 AMLearn the fascinating facts and misconceptions of Native Snakes commonly seen in Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. This oriented interactive interpretive will focus on the many snake types of Florida. Parents, you don’t want your kids to miss out on seeing some really great snakes. Park at the Day-Use area on Hwy 30A and take a short walk with park staff to the clubhouse. A $2.00 entry fee is required.

WILDLIFE PUPPET SHOW
Saturday, July 12th at 9AMThe animals of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park are waiting to inform and entertain you! This program is a great opportunity for kids to expand their knowledge of park wildlife. Everyone is invited to join Kyle the Coyote, Gary the Gopher Tortoise, and Freddie the Frog (along with supporting cast) who will teach you the importance of their habitat. Park at the Day-Use area on Hwy 30A and take a short walk with park staff to the clubhouse.

ENDANGERED BEACH MOUSE
Saturday, July 19th at 9AMIt’s a new moon within the Topsail Dunes and the Beach Mice are scurrying about. Everyone is invited to come and be apart of this Beach Mouse interpretive program and learn about their habitat and behavior. All ages are welcome to this program. Park at the Day-Use area off of Hwy 30A and take a short hike to the clubhouse.

WILD WORLD OF SPIDERS
Saturday, July 26th at 9 AMJoin in the fun and discover the world of Spiders. Learn which spiders in Florida are poisonous, where they live, what they eat, and the benefits they bring to us. This indoor slide program is great for all ages. Park at the Day-Use area off Hwy 30A. Take a short walk to the clubhouse.
Outside tours canceled during severe weather. A $2.00 Park entry fee is required.
