Manager's Message
Three Rivers State Park is a great resource in the Sneads/Jackson County community.
Whether planning a vacation or a special event, the park is ready to serve your family this summer.
With gas prices soaring, why not plan a weekend getaway or vacation close to home this year? Three Rivers has a thirty site campground and one cabin built right on the edge of Lake Seminole. Campsites with electricity are $12 a night, and the cabin, which has one bedroom, bathroom, dining room and kitchenette, is $55 a night. Visit reserveamerica.com to search for availability and make reservations today.
In addition to family camping, the park also has a youth camping area. The primitive camping area has plenty of room for a large or small group. Along with camping activities, the park can also set up a service project for the youth organization, such as a clean up or planting project.
Whether at the campground or while visiting the day use area, visitors have many activities to choose from at the park. For a nice, relaxing day, pack a picnic and enjoy lunch under a covered pavilion overlooking Lake Seminole.
Afterwards, let the kids play on the playground, or watch the sun go down over the water. For a great day outside, bring a fishing pole, or take a leisurely walk on a nature trail. Want some exercise? Bring your bike and ride through the park, or rent a canoe and paddle around the lake.
In addition to the many activities, the park also offers pavilion space to rent for family gatherings, reunions, birthdays, and other celebrations.
Just last month, the park had one of its largest weddings to date. The wedding was held overlooking Lake Seminole, and the reception took place under the park’s main pavilion, which now offers a small enclosed building that also includes several amenities for serving food.
Three Rivers State Park is here to serve and meet your family needs. Please stop by and see the park this summer.

Welcome to Three Rivers State Park
Where Florida meets the southwest corner of Georgia, the Chattahoochee and Flint rivers converge to form Lake Seminole, the setting for this peaceful park. Hiking through forested hills of pine and mixed hardwoods, visitors might catch sight of fox squirrels, white-tailed deer, gray foxes, or many species of native and migratory birds. Anglers can launch from a boat ramp to enjoy some of the best freshwater fishing in the state, or fish from a 100-foot pier in the camping area. A shady picnic area, with tables and grills, overlooks the lake. For large gatherings, a picnic pavilion that seats up to 60 people is available for rental. Overnight visitors can stay in a full-facility campground next to the lake or enjoy the comforts of a modern cabin. Located two miles north of Sneads on State Road 271 (River Road).
