This one and a half hour program will begin in the park’s visitor center and museum and conclude with a tour of the park grounds. Listen to tales of oppression, resistance, and the struggle for freedom. Explore what life was like for the brave freedom seekers once they escaped the constraints of slavery and earned their freedom in Spanish St. Augustine. Finally, find out how this American treasure that was once considered lost was ultimately rediscovered. Conclude your journey with a visit to the park’s museum, where you will enjoy a number of multimedia exhibits and artifact displays.
