Description: The Sabal palm tree historically had many uses. Program includes a talk about the areas early inhabitants and a demonstration of how they used the Sabal palm tree. This 1-hour program meets at the Don Pedro Island Landbase covered picnic shelter. This Barrier Island Parks Society (BIPS) sponsored program is appropriate for adults and children ages 8 and up.
