On Sunday, January 11, bring a picnic, blanket and lawn chairs to The Barnacle for an evening of great music under the moonlight with Country Rock recording artist Tim Charron.
Originally from Warwick, RI, Tim Charron now divides his time between Nashville and Florida. While working his way up in the music business, he was a celebrity personal trainer for international superstars including Eminem, Michael Stipe of REM, and Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit. As an artist, Tim has toured the US, Europe and Central America, opening for such acts as Chris Young, Charlie Daniels Band, Scotty McCreery, Clint Black, Sara Evans, Bret Michaels, Jon Pardi, Randy Travis and many more. His latest album, Chasing the Sun, was recorded with country mega star Jason Aldean’s band and contains a sound that is described as "Country Rock with a twist of lime."
The Barnacle Historic State Park is located at 3485 Main Highway in downtown Coconut Grove. The gate opens at 5:30 p.m. and the music plays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for future members of The Barnacle Society, $8 for members, $3 for children ages 6-9, and free for children 5 or under. No pets, please.
