CHANUKAH AT THE BARNACLE
The Barnacle Historic State Park
Date: December 21, 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Chabad of the Grove and The Barnacle Society are teaming up again this year for Chanukah at the Barnacle, a Chanukah celebration for the entire family followed by a waterfront Menorah lighting. This year, Coconut Grove resident and artist, Josh Stone, will unveil and lead the lighting of the Grove-Norah, a handmade 10 foot metal Menorah dedicated to the memory of Josh’s late father and the village of Coconut Grove.
Join fellow Grovites on Sunday, December 21 starting at 3:30 p.m. as we light up the night at The Barnacle Historic State Park, 3485 Main Highway in downtown Coconut Grove. Participants will enjoy entertainment, carnival activities, lawn races, arts and crafts and delicious Latkes, the famous Chanukah potato pancake treat. The event is free with the regular $2 park admission. There is no admission charge for children under age 6.
