The Barnacle Historic State Park

Join The Barnacle Society and The Barnacle Historic State Park as we commemorate the 163rd birthday of Ralph Middleton Munroe, Coconut Grove pioneer and founder of the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club. Celebrate with a buffet supper by The Rumcake Factory, birthday cake, music by Cool Ol’ Dudes, and a silent auction on the scenic bay-front grounds of The Barnacle, Commodore Munroe’s homestead in Coconut Grove. Period costumes 1851-1933 are welcome. Tickets purchased by March 26 are $40 for members of The Barnacle Society, $45 for non-members, and $10 for children ages 10 and under. Proceeds generated by The Commodore’s Birthday Party support fire protection for The Barnacle. This event is sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., a volunteer non-profit, citizen-supported organization created to generate public awareness, education, and financial support for the preservation and maintenance of this historic site.
