Florida's state park campsites and cabins fill quickly on weekends and holidays. Make your reservations early. If your favorite park is booked when you want to visit, consider staying at a neighboring state park or booking a mid-week stay.
CABINS AND CAMPGROUNDS
Reservations for full-facility campgrounds and cabins may be made up to 11 months in advance by calling ReserveAmerica at (800) 326-3521 or TDD (888) 433-0287 or online at http://floridastateparks.reserveamerica.com. Campsite prices vary from $16 to $42 a night depending on the park. Cabin prices vary from $30 to $160 a night. WAKULLA SPRINGS LODGE
Reservations for the Lodge at Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park, located south of Tallahassee, must be made by calling the park, (850) 926-0700. Fees vary from $95 to $150 a night.
GROUP, PRIMITIVE AND YOUTH CAMPING
Reservations for primitive, youth, group and group facilities camping must be made directly with the individual park. Sites are available throughout the state. The fee for primitive camping is $5 per person, per night. Youth and group camping fees range from $1 to $5 per person, per night. Group facilities fees range from $150 to $500 per night; an additional per person fee of $5, per night may apply.
SUWANNEE RIVER WILDERNESS TRAIL
There are six river camps along the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail. They are accessible from the river or hiking trails only and no vehicles are allowed. To reserve a river camp, call (800) 868-9914.
