Manager's Message

Springtime at Silver River

It's delightful to witness another returning Spring in the park. The redbuds are in bloom, ospreys are returning to nest, and the warmth is encouraging new green growth on the pine trees. This is one of the finest times of year for a walk on one of the trails. No mosquitoes yet and new wonders are around every turn of the trail. Take a walk on the Swamp Trail and enjoy the boardwalk over the cypress swamp and the deck that overlooks the pristine Silver River. Come on out and enjoy!
