Ponce de Leon Springs State Park

About Ponce de Leon Springs State Park

Picnic tables invite guests to relax in the shade.

A NOTE FROM THE MANAGER

SWIMMING AND TRAILS CLOSED

Spring is in the air here at Ponce de Leon Springs!!

As the weather gets warmer, the forest starts showing signs of renewed life. The trees are beginning to bud, the Dogwoods and Redbuds are in full bloom, wildflowers are starting to pop-up, and the wildlife is making its way out of their winter slumber.

The trails are open for hiking, the spring is open for swimming, and the park itself is open 365 days a year from 8am until sunset, so feel free to join us for some relaxation, hiking, swimming and fishing.

And don't forget to bring Fido! Although pets are not allowed in the swimming areas or in state buildings, non-aggressive pets are welcome here in the Florida State Parks. But please maintain control of your pets at all times with a leash (6-foot maximum), and please bring supplies to pick-up after your pets. **

We are currently in the process of improving accessibility to the spring area, so please excuse our mess as we rebuild our boardwalk. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, and are working diligently to complete the project as soon as possible.

We hope to see you here at Ponce de Leon Springs State Park!
