Ponce de Leon Springs State Park

About Ponce de Leon Springs State Park

Picnic tables invite guests to relax in the shade.

A NOTE FROM THE MANAGER

Fall is in the air!!

There is a definite chill in the air, especially as the evening sets in. But even though the air temperature may be dropping a bit, the waters in the spring hold at a pleasant 68-degrees year round! It is still a perfect time to come and take a dip in the pristine waters of Ponce de Leon Springs.

It is also a great time to get out and explore!! Our hiking trails are open, giving you a glimpse of the real Florida as you meander through the mixed forest, and along the banks of the spring run and Sandy Creek. Keep your eyes open, and your head on a swivel, or you just may miss that Pileated Woodpecker, Carolina Wren, Red-Shouldered Hawk, or any other of the multitude of birds that call this area home.

So come and join us here at Ponce de Leon Springs. The park is open 365 days a year, and swimming is allowed year-round (unless conditions warrant temporary closures). And remember to bring Fido!! Pets are allowed in the park, but please review and adhere to the Florida State Parks pet policy. http://www.floridastateparks.org/thingstoknow/petpolicy.cfm
