• "During a recently planned camping trip, we lost our spot at Myakka River SP due to flooding, and at the last minute grabbed the only spot left at Oscar Scherer. What luck! The park was easy to get to, we had an amazing view of their beautiful creek, and the spot was spacious. There were great opportunities for bird watching (never seen so many great blue herons in the sky before). The beautiful West Coast beaches were minutes away, the facilities were clean, and the rangers very friendly. A great park!"

• WE HAVE BEEN CAMPING AT OSCAR SCHERER FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS. EVERYTIME WE CAMP IT IS WONDERFUL. THIS YEAR WAS EXCEPTIONAL. THE WILDLIFE THAT WE ENCOUNTERED WAS TRULY FUN AND A JOY TO EXPIERENCE. LOOK FORWARD TO MANY MORE YEARS. THANKS

• Beautiful park. Rangers are very nice and helpfull. Lots of beaches near by to choose from. Bathrooms are super clean. We will be going back there again.
