Tom Jacobs - Orlando, FL - My family just returned from camping at O'Leno State Park. We all feel that this was our best camping experience yet. It is a very peaceful park with abundant wildlife. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The campsites are large and well maintained. We are already planning our next camping trip there!

Rebecca Monnig - Archer, Florida - We stayed at O'Leno State Park in March 2007. There was beautiful scenery and the campground was very peaceful. My kids enjoyed riding their bikes and using the playground. The water was too low for swimming but we did walk along the river and it was very nice. The bath house was extremely clean and the campground hosts were very friendly.
Michelle Curtright - Yulee, FL - We just spent a three day weekend at O'Leno in May 2008. The park is very beautiful and had plenty to keep our 5 year old son and 11 year old daughter entertained the entire time. There was plenty of wild life to see. We even got to see a large gator in the river near where it goes under ground. Later that day (in another part of the river) my daughter caught her first catfish. The entire park was very clean. The only negative was that we were tent camping and had an RV next to us, so we had to listen to their AC unit all night. Even so, we will be back for sure!
Fred Atwood - Lecanto, FL - Walked the River trail on Labor day and saw Blue Hering, and a Five Lined Skink. On the way our I encountered 2 does feeding at the side of the main road about 1/2 mile from the bridge and swimming area. My next encounter was the best so far---about 100 yards from the Ranger station was a little doe and anohter little albino deer. The little deer was snow white-amazing. I hope to see the little white deer again and hope everyone that visits the park is lucky enough to see the little deer. Have a great day and get out and enjoy the outdoors!!!!!!!!!
JASON BURCHARD - GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA - We spent the fouth of July weekend at O'leno and our experience was very positive. The Park is gorgeous, the sites are clean, shaded and private and nature is amazing all around. We saw deers and many types of birds. The swimming area was nice and my family enjoyed the cool, refreshing water. I thought it was a bit too dark for my taste, but it was fun anyway! The Santa Fe river is amazingly beautiful and so are the trails around it. All areas of the park are nicely kept. All in all we had a great time exploring this wonderful park as a family and we will certainly go back again!
