The Department of Environmental Protection’s Ochlockonee River State Park has ongoing ranger led presentations on topics ranging from the parks natural and cultural features to Florida and local history and folklore. Ranger led walks are also available where guests have the opportunity to see and learn about prescribed fire and Red Cockaded woodpecker monitoring. Individuals interested in participating should contact the ranger station for dates and times or ask a ranger during your visit. Dates and times are posted at the information kiosk at the campground restroom and at the campfire circle entranceThese programs are free with paid park entrance fees.
