North Peninsula State Park

Ranger Programs at North Peninsula State Park

GEOCACHING
North Peninsula State Park

Ongoing during park operating hours.

This exciting GPS treasure hunting game is for participants of all ages. The caches are hidden in both Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area and North Peninsula State Park.  This is a self-guided and ongoing program.

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.   This program is self-guided and visitors are encouraged to  to stay and enjoy the other amenities offered at these two beautiful parks while visiting.  Participants must have their own GPS devices.  Keep checking the website for special Geocaching orientation & training, and Geocaching events and games to be offered periodically.  Contact the park for more information at (386) 517-2086.
