Myakka River State Park
About Myakka River State Park
A NOTE FROM THE MANAGER
Fall has finally sprung at Myakka River State Park. Along with the beautiful weather and the flood waters receding we are seeing the return of the winter birds. On most mornings you can see large flocks of Roseate Spoonbills and Blue Winged Teals all from the park drive. It is really a great time to come out to Myakka!
Myakka River State Park is located 9 miles east of I-75 in Sarasota on S.R. 72.
