20TH ANNUAL TOUR OF GARDENS
Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park
Date: Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
The Department of Environmental Protection’s Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park and the Friends of Maclay Gardens, Inc. invite the public to attend the 20th Annual Tour of Gardens. This tour of privately owned gardens is a fundraising event and a spring tradition for many folks in the area. The day will begin with a breakfast at Maclay Gardens at 9:00 a.m. along with a silent auction. Participants will then be given maps and directions for a self-paced and self-driving tour to visit fine privately owned home gardens in the Tallahassee area. This educational event displays diverse styles of gardens and solutions to common landscape design challenges, enjoyable for all who appreciate the art of gardening. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions at each garden. For more details and ticket information call (850) 487-4556.
Fees: Park entrance fees will be waived for participants. Ticket price is $25.00 in advance or $30.00 the day of the event.

Alfred B. Maclay Gardens is located .5 miles north on I-10 on U.S. 319/Thomasville Road. Turn west on Maclay Road. The park is a short distance on the right.
