Testimonials for Lower Wekiva River Preserve State Park
- This place made my trip! I had had to come to Disney World for a conference and wasn't expecting to see much of anything that really interested me. However, a couple of hours walking(it was 97 degrees)restored my spirit. I am a wildflower lover and had never visited the Southeast before. It was wonderful to see palms and strange pine trees amid the foliage, and we also discovered 8-foot yuccas, white penstemons, passionflowers, and a beautiful red "lipstick" plant that I guess to be an aloe. Although I wished for an alligator to show himself in Sand Lake, I was most content with my small dose of beautiful nature.
