Located at mile marker 56.2 in the heart of the Florida Keys, the park is nestled among beautiful mangrove-covered islands and surrounded by turquoise-colored waters that sparkle in the midday sun. With over 1,100 acres of pristine natural areas there is plenty of wildlife and plenty of ways to enjoy your visit!
Camping and kayaking are two of our most popular activities, but our day-use area is also a great place for picnics, fishing, birding or simply relaxing along the shoreline and soaking up some sun!
Our paddling trails are excellent for viewing wildlife such as manatees or sea turtles. We also have hiking and biking trails as well as guided tours and programs, all of which are excellent for learning about the ecosystems in the Florida Keys or getting a closer look at our native flora and fauna.
