Phil with Trees

Philip Spyckaboer, Park Manager

Three Rivers State Park is popular for family gatherings, fishing, hiking and biking, camping, upland trails and wildlife viewing. Hurricane Michael damaged much of the park's infrastructure and habitat. The park's staff, volunteers and contractors have repaired all facilities and roads, making the park safe for visitor access.

Our day-use area has three open-air pavilions and a playground with outstanding views of Lake Seminole. The trail system is a work in progress. More than 10 miles have been cleared of storm debris and visitors can now hike along the lake shore. As progress continues, visitors with a keen eye can pick out the park's abundant wildlife. White-tailed deer and fox squirrels are seen daily, along with bald eagles and osprey soaring overhead.

Winter brings migrations of waterfowl to the lake in outstanding numbers, and summer reveals the American alligator. Recently the bobwhite quail population has increased, and their song is heard throughout the day.

Campers enjoy lakefront campsites with 30- and 50-amp service, a private boat launch, canoe rentals, a 100-foot fishing pier and nighttime stargazing.

So bring your boat and enjoy a day on the water or come for a picnic with a fantastic view of the lake. Hike or bike our 10 miles of trails while keeping an eye out for all the wildlife that lives in the park. We look forward to your visit.
