NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY--MY FIRST VOLUNTEER PROJECT
Lake Kissimmee State Park
Date: September 27, 2014 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Join us at Lake Kissimmee State Park to celebrate National Public Lands Day with an invasive plant removal service project. Please bring gloves, a refillable water bottle and insect repellant. This effort will decrease the amount of invasive plants that are taking over our beautiful park! We are ready to battle these invasive plants with your help!

Directions: Lake Kissimmee State Park is located off S.R. 60, 15 miles east of Lake Wales.
From SR 60:
Turn North (left Eastbound, right Westbound) onto Boy Scout Road/Barney Keen Road
Turn Right onto Camp Mack Road
Park will be on right after approx. 5 miles
From US 27:
Turn East (left Southbound, right Northbound) onto Chalet Suzanne Road
Go straight at stoplight, road changes name to Mammoth Grove Road
Turn left onto Masterpiece Gardens Road
Turn left onto Camp Mack Road
Park will be on right after approx. 9 miles
