Lake Kissimmee's Observation Tower is currently CLOSED to the public due to structural problems.

The Cow Camp at Lake Kissimmee is now CLOSED for the summer. The Cow Camp's operating hours are 9:30AM to 4:30PM Saturdays and Sundays beginning October 1st through May 1st. The Cow Camp will also be open on major holidays with the exception of Christmas. Special requests for Cow Camps may be granted to groups of 15 or more persons by calling the Ranger Station at: (863) 696-1112

 Bring the whole family out to spend a day exploring Lake Kissimmee! With 13 miles of hiking and equestrian trails, a boat launch leading out to Lake Kissimmee (Florida's third largest lake), shaded picnic areas, a playground, excellent wildlife viewing, and camping; Lake Kissimmee State Park offers something for everyone. Remember to bring plenty of water, sunscreen and insect repellent with you! The park now has horse shoe pits and a volley ball court!

Segway tours of Lake Kissimmee State Park are now offered through Back Trail Adventures of Florida. Tours are operated Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8:30A.M. and 3:30 P.M. The Camp store is back open at Lake Kissimmee State Park!  The store is located in the concession building   at the marina. The following rentals are available: 2 pontoon boats, kayaks and canoes, volley balls and horse shoes. The camp store also offers an array of camping supplies and merchandise including: ice , fire wood , charcoal, snacks, ice cream , t-shirts and post cards! The Camp Store is open Friday 12pm-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am – 5pm. For more information or to make reservations for a rental please contact the camp store at 863-696-4486 or Brenda at 863-696-2590 9am-12pm Monday - Thursday.

 

This time of year is the busy seasons for Lake Kissimmee State Park so if you are interested in camping, please make sure to get your reservations in early! For regular campsites, please call Reserve America at: 1-800-326-3521. If you are interested in reserving the Youth Camp, Primitive Campsites, or a pavilion, please call the Ranger Station at: 863-696-1112.

GETTING HERE

Lake Kissimmee State Park is located off S.R. 60, 15 miles east of Lake Wales.

From SR 60:
Turn North (left Eastbound, right Westbound) onto Boy Scout Road/Barney Keen Road
Turn Right onto Camp Mack Road
Park will be on right after approx. 5 miles

From US 27:
Turn East (left Southbound, right Northbound) onto Chalet Suzanne Road
Go straight at stoplight, road changes name to Mammoth Grove Road
Turn left onto Masterpiece Gardens Road
Turn left onto Camp Mack Road
Park will be on right after approx. 9 miles
