A NOTE FROM THE MANAGER

Rob Lacy, Manager

Spring is in full swing and summer is righr around the corner! We invite you to visit Lake Jackson Mounds Archaeological State Park to experience the sights and sounds of spring.  Many bird species and other wildlife may be found throughout the park. See what you can spot as you take a leisurely stroll on our nature trails or enjoy a picnic lunch in the warm afternoon sunshine.

Lake Jackson Mounds is a great place for school field trips or summer camp outings. The vast archaeological, cultural and natural resources found here make this a perfect setting for classes studying Florida history or natural science. Ranger led tours are available. Please contact the park at least two weeks prior to your visit to make arrangements.
