About Lafayette Blue Springs State Park

Lafayette Blue Spring surrounded by sandy banks and dense vegetation.

Amy Conyers

Thank you for your interest in Lafayette Blue Springs State Park. As the cooler winter weather is upon us, now is a great time to visit Lafayette Blue Springs. Bring the family for a picnic or a reunion, take a quick swim in one of Florida's first magnitude springs, which are still a comfortable 72 degrees, or spend some time with your fishing pole on the banks of the Suwannee River. As a reminder, our pack-in campground accommodates tents only, and requires a short walk from the parking area.  It is open for your use and enjoyment on a first-come, first-serve basis.  In addition, we also have five fully-furnished cabins for rent, which have been designated as part of the Florida Green Lodging Program. We look forward to serving you, your family, and your friends. To make reservations, call ReserveAmerica at (800) 326-3521, (866) I CAMP FL, TDD (888) 433-0287 or visit ReserveAmerica.

While you are in the area, stop in to see some of the other beautiful nearby State Parks like Wes Skiles Peacock Springs, Troy Springs, Forest Capital Museum, Suwannee River, Madison Blue, or Ichetucknee Springs which are all with a 30 minute drive!
