A peninsular cooter turtle is resting on a log. His head and legs are stretched out to their limits. He is perfectly reflected in the water below. An expanse of large cypress tress in full foliage rises from the water. An osprey perches in a tall pine tree and huddles over a small fish it is holding in its talons and tearing to pieces with its beak.

Two small tents, one in heavy shade, are seen in a tree-shaded campsite, along with a folding chair. A group of people huddle on a trail through the pine woods, bending over and looking at a flower. A group of young people, all dressed in the same type shirt and carrying notebooks, pause along a trail to listen to an adult squatting in the shade.
