The park’s pontoon tour boat is seen tied to the dock, with passengers aboard, with the mangrove forest in the background. A wooden boardwalk leads straight ahead under a canopy of pine trees. It angles away in the distance and begins to climb. A family-sized tent is seen nestled in a campsite amid pines and palmettos.

A medium-sized camping trailer is seen under Australian Pines in the old Pine Grove Campground. A lone kayaker paddles down the narrow Upper Loxahatchee River past huge cypress trees, spindly ash trees and swamp lilies. Trapper Nelson’s primitive boathouse is glimpsed from the river, amidst thick jungle vegetation.
